[SEEPP2004] Gaisan Technologies launches a VoIP service

Hi gentlemen,

Long time no hear. The trip to the US was fun but
the heat was oppresive. It exceeded 40 degrees and 85% humidity.

Anyway, here’s an inside scoop (i.e.
a marketing piece). Gaisan Technologies (www.gaisan.com)
and VoIP-Ireland (www.voipirl.ie) are
partnering to provide VoIP services in the South East of Ireland. Our selling
points are:

Single line
installation fee is 120 euro.

low
monthly fees (5 euro),

flexible
payment systems (payment using direct debit, credit card, paypal),

~40%
saving on peak local & national calls

Very
cheap International calls. 3 – 5 cents / minute to anywhere in the world.

No minimum
call charges

We’re interested in signing up  businesses
in the greater waterford
area that have broadband  & make a lot of international calls.

If any of the SEEPP participants are
interested then let me know.

Sincerest regards,

    …shane

Subject: [SEEPP2004] Anyone got
any advice on acting as an agent?

Hi Guys,

Well has anyone got any advice on acting as an
agent/go-between for a

Supplier?
I am doing some work with a company in the US and I unofficially
represent them in Ireland. Basically I will get a
package of drawings

and technical and commercial data from prospective
customers and let

them quote for the business. I will then present
this information to

the customer and if it is of any interest then I
will introduce the 2

parties.

I am looking to protect myself from the Client
going directly to my

Supplier or vice-versa prior to any formal
introduction. I have

thought of doing an initial letter of
Introduction, outlining my role

and inserting penalty clauses, however I don’t
want to raise any fears

with either party.
My remuneration for this has been informally
discussed with my

supplier – however they do not want to employ me
nor have an official

agent at the moment. I discussed possible options
with their MD and he

did not have a problem re-imbursing me or paying a
finders fee if they

were successfull in establishing a supply chain
through me. I could do

with including this in any letter of introduction
or similar.

Over to you boys!

Kevin
