I’ve been playing around with fractal generation over the past few weeks . Some of the results have made it into the redesign of Ordo Ab Chao. Feedback is appreciated but I’m unlikely to change much over the next few weeks. Also, many thanks to those surfers with time on their hands who mailed me their opinions on my new look. The dreads are also here to stay 😉
Thought it was about time I put a new photo of myself on the site. I’ve gone all rasta in the past few weeks so here’s me looking moody and showing off my new dreads in tasteful b et w. My tongue is firmly kept in cheek BTW.

Overview
Tours,
conferences, and seminars are a big part of International Living and The
sovereign society. On average, we run one event every month. The number =
of
attendees varies depending on event. We use these promos to promote our =
events
to our 300,000(ish) email subscribers and website visitors. Once =
the Tour
is over, the promo is rarely if ever used =
again.
Procedure=
– The promos arrive in ms word format and are =
usually
4-8 A4 pages long.
– We will supply the necessary =
images
– The designer’s task is to produce the promo =
in
standards compliant HTML incorporating headings, sidebars, images,
starbursts etc.
– We will provide an FTP space to store the =
finished
promos
– Every promo has a link to an order =
form.
– Each promo is mirrored several times to =
enable
tracking
Tracking
Our marketing department uses different order forms =
to track
where an order came from. So, for each source, a copy of the promo must =
be
created. For example, if the promo is to appear in our broadcast to =
readers of
our Paris
newsletter, then we would have a seperate url and the link to the order =
form
would be different.
Changes/Edits
We will make every effort to ensure that the designer
receives fully proofed and edited copy, however there will be situations =
that
call for changes to be made after the mirror pages have been created. =
Basic
typos will be made in-house wherever =
possible.
