To many, myself included, he was the greatest footballer of any generation. An iconic figure who&#8217;s talent gave joy to millions. He played the people&#8217;s game with an unsurpassed flair and elan that made it truely beautiful. Yet he also ushered in the modern era of superstardom, wealth and excess.
