\nJust talked to WIT about the SecurIST and SecurityTaskForce websites.
\nThey’re being difficult about this and demanding that the websites be done
\nby the end of next week. This is an urgent requirement. Therefore I’d ask
\neverybody to drop me a quick email (cc’ed to everybody else) telling me what
\nthey’ve done and what remains to be done on each site. I have good reason to
\nbelieve that WIT will fail to pay or lower their fee if we don’t deliver
\nwithin this time. <\/p>\n
Ciaran could you please send me the link for your latest version of the
\nSecurIST site. Brian & Willie, can you get some work done on the
\nSecurityTaskForce site as soon as Calmast is put to bed. <\/p>\n
The animator has sent me our calmast animation but it has a problem with it.<\/p>\n
They used the wrong logo. Still it’s pretty cool. See the results @
\nwww.gaisan.com\/sdempsey\/flash\/calmast.swf . I’m fixing it at the moment. <\/p>\n
I’ve also placed a timesheet spreadsheet in this directory. I want you guys
\nto keep track of the hours that you work on the project (as I’m sure you’re
\ndoing) and fill in this form when you’re finished. This is available @
\nhttp:\/\/www.gaisan.com\/sdempsey\/timesheet_template.xls The rate shown is 40
\neuro\/hour. The actual rate will probably be between 30 & 40, depending on
\nwhether we deliver what was promised on-time and get paid accordingly. Some
\nof these are fixed price projects and therefore I have to work towards a
\nbudget which includes everything from animation & logo design to office
\nsupplies etc. <\/p>\n
I can’t emphasise enough that I need everybody to get in contact with me if
\nthere’s a problem in meeting a deadline or meeting any requirement. We’ve
\ngot 2 unhappy customers now and we’re going to charge them thousands for
\nwebsites. As the expression goes “that’s no way to run a railroad”. Most
\ndisconcertinly, WIT have 2 other projects which are even larger that they
\nmay offer to us but are using these delays as a bargaining position.
\nTherefore I’d urge everybody to work as hard as possible over the next few
\ndays to ensure we get these projects in before the end of next week. <\/p>\n
