\nI am doing some work with a company in the US and I unofficially <\/font>
\nrepresent them in Ireland. Basically I will get a
\npackage of drawings <\/font>
\nand technical and commercial data from prospective
\ncustomers and let <\/font>
\nthem quote for the business. I will then present
\nthis information to <\/font>
\nthe customer and if it is of any interest then I
\nwill introduce the 2 <\/font>
\nparties.<\/font><\/p>\n
\ngoing directly to my <\/font>
\nSupplier or vice-versa prior to any formal
\nintroduction. I have <\/font>
\nthought of doing an initial letter of
\nIntroduction, outlining my role <\/font>
\nand inserting penalty clauses, however I don’t
\nwant to raise any fears <\/font>
\nwith either party.<\/font>
\nMy remuneration for this has been informally
\ndiscussed with my <\/font>
\nsupplier – however they do not want to employ me
\nnor have an official <\/font>
\nagent at the moment. I discussed possible options
\nwith their MD and he <\/font>
\ndid not have a problem re-imbursing me or paying a
\nfinders fee if they <\/font>
\nwere successfull in establishing a supply chain
\nthrough me. I could do <\/font>
\nwith including this in any letter of introduction
\nor similar.<\/font><\/p>\n
