\nproduct idea is quite simple.<\/p>\n
Under the SOX 409 act, US organisations are required to provide real-time
\nreporting of all events that could effect their share price or impact upon
\nfinancial performance. The term real-time is defined as within a reasonable
\ntime after the event occurs.. management should make provision immediately to
\nmake all shareholders and stakeholders aware of the complete information at
\nhand in an intelligible and coherent manner. The problem is that no method
\nexists at the moment which unifies events as they’re raised in a financial
\nreporting system with a PR reporting \/ crisis management reporting sysytem.<\/p>\n
I think that a possible mechanism to achieve this utilises web services. Here,
\nthe precise parameters of your reporting system could be defined as electronic
\ninputs such as a newsfeed adhereing to the du-jour standards such as RSS etc. A
\nbusinesses financial reporting system may therefore negotiate automatically
\nwith your business to have a press release created and disseminated to a
\ndesired and appropriate list of parties as required by SOX 409…<\/p>\n
The negotiation is carried out using a secure webservices and the result is an
\nelectronic document which is distributed and signed by both parties stating:<\/p>\n
– the information to be disseminated
\n– the list of parties to notify (e.g. SEC, electronic news, media etc., other PR
\nagencies) (either physical or electronic including contact\/forwarding
\ninformation)
\n– the schedule for dissemination
\n– the format for dissemination (live Real-Audion streaming, Quicktime etc. )<\/p>\n
As stated previously there exists no standard mechanism for doing this at the
\nmoment and as such, this would be a new an innovative process which is most
\nlikely patentable. I.e. !!Potentially Highly Lucrative!!. I’d like to help you
\ndevelop this standard when I better understand your business process. I would
\nquite like a share of the revenues generated directly or indirectly from this
\nprocess for doing so. If you were agreeable.<\/p>\n
