You can create a .htaccess password protection file by doing the following:<\/p>\n
Create a new file. This one is called the .htpasswd file. (Notice the file
\nname\/extension resemblance to our current subject.) This type of file is
\ncreated and saved in the same fashion as the htaccess file. The htpasswd
\nfile will contain user names and their passwords.<\/p>\n
Now that you have the file created, you have to enter the information into
\nit in the following form. <\/p>\n
username:password
\nusername:password
\nusername:password<\/p>\n
The username, a colon, and password are on individual lines and do not have
\nany spaces at the end of each line.<\/p>\n
The passwords should be encrypted. You can do ths here

You should now have the usernames and passwords entered. Store this file in
\nthe root folder (below the public_html folder. <\/p>\n
