I was just about to write to you. Met with Eamonn today and the upshot of
\nhis meeting with you is that he wants to engage with you and your company to
\norganise a 2 – 2.5 day training course on SIP. Followed by a half day
\nbrainstorming session on SIP communication services.<\/p>\n
The type of things Eamonn would like to cover include:<\/p>\n

\n2. SIP Servlet development
\n3. SIP Client
\n4. Java media framework and RTP \/ RTCP
\n5. Virtual PBX
\n6. SIP Services<\/p>\n
You will need to follow up with Eamonn on the detail of the course.<\/p>\n
The background to this is that we have a group here that is going to focus
\non IMS Services – specifically the rapid prototyping of IMS communications
\nservices on the BEA Communications Platform (an IMS SIP application server).
\nObviously we are not asking you to do an IMS course – or do anything on
\nBEA’s platform (as its not on general release yet), but as you know SIP is a
\ncore part of IMS and we want to get a group of about ten people up to speed
\non SIP development.<\/p>\n
Can you take a look at this and give me a quote \/ timescales for tomorrow?
\nWould you be able to run the course on 6\/7 June and join the brainstorming
\non the 8th? 1\/2\/3 June may be viable also.<\/p>\n
